In 2010, Erik Knutson of Boulder, Colorado, sought a new and unique way to enjoy social gatherings with a beverage. With the assistance of family and friends, he aimed to combine the sociable and celebratory experience of drinking with the joy of cannabis. This led to the creation of an early batch of “Keef Cola,” which was tasted by his beloved Grandma Dee. Her approval indicated that they were onto something, and thus, Keef was born.
