Pot Fairy is a heartfelt, grassroots initiative founded by artist and cannabis activist Deedee Kirkwood to raise awareness and provide support for individuals serving life sentences for non-violent cannabis offenses. Deeply moved by the injustice she witnessed, Deedee began corresponding with incarcerated “pot lifers,” forming close bonds and launching creative fundraising efforts—such as handmade aprons, accessories, and the Pot Fairy Originals line—to help fund their commissary needs. With a mission rooted in compassion and advocacy, Pot Fairy brings attention to the ongoing consequences of cannabis prohibition, giving voice, dignity, and tangible aid to those unjustly imprisoned.
