Emerald Spirit Botanicals began in 1996 when founder Katie Jeane moved with her two young children to an undeveloped piece of land in Mendocino County. Living in harmony with nature, she built the first permitted cob house in California and cultivated a deep connection to the earth. By 2010, Katie transitioned from teaching to full-time farming, focusing on the healing power of cannabis. She began breeding high CBD varietals and, in 2014, developed 1:1 THC:CBD strains like Harmony Rose and Rising Sun.
