Mandolin Gardens, located in Nevada City, CA, was established in the Sierra foothills in 1989. It is a family-run farm spread across 6 acres of gently rolling Pine/Oak/Cedar habitat. The property is the ancestral home to the Nisenan, a hunter-gatherer tribe that resided there for thousands of years. In 1938, the Gau family constructed a cabin and log house on the land, raising a family of 6 children.

The current owners bought the property from the Gau family and continue to steward the land by farming organically and using natural inputs. Mandolin Gardens is dedicated to tending both its Cannabis and food garden with loving care, with the hope that this love and attention are passed on to family, friends, and customers.
