Despite evolving views, the products used seemed stuck in the counterculture of the past. The team saw an opportunity to embrace this evolution, challenging themselves to create items that resembled home decor rather than something illicit. Over a year of dedicated work sessions during nights and weekends led to the development of a brand that emphasizes a state of mind and self-focus. The name “Session” naturally emerged, embodying the time dedicated to this specific activity.

The culture and ethos of Session revolve around the celebration of indulgence, recognizing relaxation as key to happiness. Their commitment extends to social responsibility, with membership in the Floret Coalition, an anti-racist collective of small businesses supporting and funding equity-oriented actions. Session pledges monthly donations to organizations working in support of Black, Latinx, and Indigenous communities.
