Farmer and the Felon™ is determined to preserve the countercultural history of the prohibition era while advocating for social justice for the cannabis prisoners in the here-and-now. As industry veterans dedicated to cannabis freedom, they aren’t interested in being just another weed brand.
Right now, over 40,000 non-violent cannabis offenders still sit behind bars in the United States. By partnering with the Last Prisoner Project, Farmer and the Felon aims to bring restorative justice through the power of cannabis.
While you celebrate your freedom on Independence Day please remember those in prison for non-violent cannabis “offenses.” This July, Sespe will donate a portion of the proceeds from every purchase of the Farmer and the Felon to the Last Prisoner Project and our own Pot Fairy.
About the LPP: Last Prisoner Project is a nonprofit coalition of cannabis industry leaders, executives, and artists dedicated to bringing restorative justice to the cannabis industry.
About the Pot Fairy: Deedee Kirkwood, AKA The Pot Fairy, frequently and regularly communicates with many pot lifers. Sespe has worked with Deedee to get funds in these prisoners’ commissary accounts directly, so they may afford simple necessities like soap and toothpaste as well as phone calls and emails to loved ones.
